Barely two weeks to the 2015 governorship election in Bayelsa State, Chief Timipre Sylva of All Progressive Congress (APC), has accused the incumbent Governor, Seriake Dickson, of having no capacity to govern the people of the state.
Sylva also said governor Dickson is full of deceits as he claimed to have completed projects initiated and awarded by his administration.
The APC governorship candidate stated this at the weekend in Oporoama, Southern Ijaw local government Area during his campaign to the people.
Sylva said, he is coming to change Bayelsa state from poverty to wealth and bring rural urban transformation to the hinterlands and end sufferings inflicted by governor Dickson to the people
Sylva who arrived the venue of the campaign with a chartered helicopter at 4.30 pm accompanied by his running mate, Elder Wilberforce Igiri, Director General of the Sylva/Igiri campaign Organization and Senator Heineken Lokpobiri and State Party Chairman, Chief Tiwei Oruminghe appealed to the people to vote APC in order to witness and see the miracle of change that would happen in the state.
He vowed to bring governance to the people by completing the road project from Yenagoa to Ayama and to Oporoama, the headquarter of Southern Ijaw local government Area, if voted as governor come Dec, 2015.
Recall that Southern Ijaw locality is the traditional homes of Sylva running mate, Elder Wilberforce Igiri and the state Chairman, APC, Chief Tiwei Oruminghe.
The governorship hopeful said governor Dickson had not done any tangible project in the state as his government is full of deceits and blackmails.
Sylva also accused Dickson of issuing fake appointment letters to politicians to woo them to support him without paying them salaries, saying that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is death in the central and state levels, appealed to the electorate to vote APC in the Dec 5th governorship elections.
Also Speaking , the Minister of Agriculture and the Director General of Sylva/Igiri Campaign Organisation, Senator Heineken Lokpobiri said President Buhari loves Bayelsa state and have interest in the Development of the state, describing PDP as a death party that have no control any longer in the center.
Lokpobiri insisted that whether the Dickson and PDP like it or not, APC must win Bayelsa state governorship Election come Dec 5th,2015.
The Minister who spoke in Ijaw dialect urged the people to vote Sylva, APC to end poverty, insecurity and unemployment in order to enhance socio economic transformation in the state
He appealed to the people to secure their Permanent Voter Cards PVC and vote APC as to flush out Dickson and PDP from the creek haven come Dec 5th polls.Monday 23 November 2015
