As the ongoing gubernatorial election in Kogi state nears its crescendo, an underage voter was caught by election monitoring agents in 22/11/08/003, Gegu Beki Ward 8, Koto Karfi local government area of the state today.
The picture made available by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) situation room report, showed a youngster who appears to be in his mid teens.
The teenager’s Permanent Voter Card (PVC) was collected by an official who checked to confirm his status, where it was discovered that he was below 18 year age mandatory age for voters.

Meanwhile, some road users have been left stranded in Kogi state after security operatives disallowed them from passing through the state to their destinations because of the ongoing pollin the state.
