Buhari fails to host FEC meeting

The weekly Federal Executive Council meeting has failed to hold reports reaching Naij says. President Buhari and his ministers. This is coming barely one week after he had sworn-in the ministers into office. According to Premium Times, the meeting was postponed last night without any official reason. The FEC meeting is a weekly one and has held every Wednesday since the exit of military and return to democracy in 1999. Meanwhile, the federal government has been accused of planning to use funds from the NDDC to influence the forthcoming election in Bayelsa statein favour of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The allegation is from a group calledBayelsa Votes whose coordinator, Thomas Dokubo alleges that the national leadership of the APC feels indebted to the party’s gubernatorial candidate, Chief Timipre Sylva because of his financial commitments to the campaign of President Buhari.
